Club fees going up

Due to the increase in our venue costs over the year, from September the cost of attending individual club sessions will increase from £10 to £12. The price per month of £35 will stay the same but will be kept under review.

Records of attendance and payments will be kept in monthly blocks and at the end of each month anyone attending sessions who has a shortfall will be reminded.

Whilst our main venue of Birkdale School is comparatively cheap at £43.50 per session, the school has been increasing this rate with each new invoice. Most significantly, during the period when we did not have use of the Sports Hall due to exams, we had to use the English Institute of Sport in order to accommodate our numbers and this cost £204 a night. our total venue costs over the last year have been over £6000 and we anticipate similar costs for the coming year.
