Yorkshire Team Foil Championships – 9th June
The Team Foil Championships for the Yorkshire Region. Held at -Penistone Grammar School, Huddersfield Road, Penistone, South Yorkshire S36 7BX on Saturday 9th June. A great fun, highly competitive and enjoyable competition with LOADS of fencing! There will be medals for the top 3 Men’s and top 3 Women’s teams. Teams may be mixed, though mixed teams will compete for the Men’s prizes. The event will be run using a system of pools followed by direct elimination fencing off for every place so every team can expect to be fencing for the full day. Yorkshire Youth League – 10th June
The next Yorkshire Youth League Tournament will take place on Sunday 10thJune 2018 at Penistone Grammar School, Huddersfield Road, Penistone, Sheffield S36 7BX. Yorkshire Team Foil 2017
The 2017 Yorkshire Team Foil took place at Penistone Grammar School on Saturday 24th June. There were 7 teams from all over Yorkshire and a good day of fencing was has by all using a poule unique formula. And the final results were!!!! –

This is the Team Foil Championships for the Yorkshire Region of the British Fencing Association. Members of teams competing for the Yorkshire trophies should be either normally resident in Yorkshire or members of clubs within the Yorkshire Region. All participants should be members of the British Fencing Association and must have been 13 or older on the 1st January 2017. There will be medals for the top 3 Men’s and top 3 Women’s teams. Teams may be mixed, though mixed teams will compete for the Men’s prizes. The event will be run using a system of pools followed by direct elimination fencing off for every place so every team can expect to be fencing for the full day. A good days fencing is absolutely guaranteed!
Yorkshire Youth League – Penistone 2017
The next leg of the Yorkshire Youth League will take place at Penistone Grammar School on Saturday 10th June. There are events for Under 10s, Under 12s and Under 14s at foil, epee and sabre. There have been some difficulties with the payment through the Yorkshire Regional website so here is an entry form to download – YYL – Sheffield 17 – Entry Form , people can email me their details as per the entry form and pay on the day or post completed forms to me with payment.
Please be aware that we will not be processing British Fencing Association memberships on the day and those taking part should should ensure their membership is up to date before their event. This is because applicants need to set up their own BFA account and some of the questions are somewhat confidential in nature. We will however hope to have an online computer set up for anyone who finds that they need to do this on the day.
As ever, we will be very grateful for any offers to referee and will be hoping to provide some form of meaningful recompense for this (funds allowing).

Temporary Change of Time
Until the 7th December Sheffield Buccaneers sessions will have to start at 7.15pm. This is due to a mix up with bookings in the school.
